Introduction & Overview

AASM v0.9.0 for Windows and Linux

What is ARK Ascended Server Manager?

ARK Ascended Server Manager (AASM) is a desktop application for Windows and Linux that takes the pain out of running ARK: Survival Ascended dedicated servers. Whether you're starting your first server or you already run a ten-server cluster, AASM gives you one place to install, configure, schedule, monitor, and back up everything.

AASM v0.9.0, released 15 July 2026, is the first AASM release for Linux as well as Windows. AASM itself runs natively on Linux; Studio Wildcard's Windows-only ASA dedicated-server binary runs through Proton/Wine. Start with the Linux installation guide or download the current build from the download page.

Built and supported by Cryptek

AASM is built and maintained by Cryptek, an active member of the ARK server-hosting community. New releases ship as small, focused bundles rather than big-bang updates - so you get bug fixes the week they're reported, not the quarter.

A live Discord community handles support, feature requests, and announcements. The in-app Discord helper bot triages common issues automatically.
