I've hosted them oldschool using steamCMD, as well as the ark server manager back in the day. With ASA I did the same but now with more maps I wanted something easier. This app is amazing. Its simple, uncomplicated, but hides away complexities that can be invoked in your servers. Yes there can be more things added and I have suggested a few. What i do like is the creating or importing profiles.. it simply works, on another competing manager, you have to fight with profiles!!"

Yeah I agree sometime you can find bugs but if you're a developer you know that when you make something is not everytime perfect. But what I can say you is Cryptek is a solo developer for this program, he's super active and friendly. I'm the one who's gonna invest alot in this program because I know what it will be in the future. (You should do it tho, you don't have any idea how good and useful it will be) I recommend Ark Ascended Server Manager to everybody who like ARK for playing with friends or for hosting big clusters server. Theres alot of features included everything you could think of. This is a big life changer for me and if you try it or buy it you will see by yourself. "Halfway through the free trial and if I can get it running as advertised i will deff be a life member, having some issues but the discord community are very helpful where they can be, software itself: feature set is really well thought, out sliders for all coming setting broken into easy tabs, very decent backup, restart recovery section coupled with an easy to navigate GUI its the best ASM ive used and I used a lot. All the work the author has put in here will save any serious ASA a tonne of time with what should be an out of the box polished server manager. will update at the end of the trial. Lil bugger ran tooooo HOT, got ASM on a proper sevver and everything is butter smooth, I bought the lifetime sub, well worth the money!"

If maps crash it comes back online properly and doesn't require any attention. "Some history, back in summer 2020, through a confluence of events, covid, ark free on epic, summer vacation etc, I ended up running upwards of 19 ARK ASE servers, during that summer we averaged around 300-750 concurrent users. with about 2400 weekly recurring players, out of a total 15k+ unique players. All managed with bletch's ASM. It wasn't perfect but it did the job quite well. They were all hosted on Windows Servers in my homelab. By spring 2022, population had dropped to only a handful of players, I shutdown all my ARK servers and moved on. After the ASA release I briefly ran a couple servers, 100% manually, but at release with no real functioning SM, along with all the other issues of ASA at that time, I backed away completely. I only mention the above to give some background and weight that having run ARK servers for 7+ years, I have a pretty good sense on what I consider a good server manager. ARK ASA SM, this server manager, is an amazing and very worthy successor to Bletch's original ASM. I dealt with AMP for about 5 days and was about to call it, AMP is great game server manager, for pretty much ANY game server BUT ARK. There are just way too many settings and the way it works makes it extremely difficult to manage or diagnose problems. ARK is just not a good fit for AMP. No shade on AMP, I use it for lots of other game servers. I almost hung my hat again, but was being asked by a couple close friends to please run a server. So I did some searching and found ASA SM, by Cryptek. I got the trial yesterday, and this morning picked up a 6month license. Truly, an amazing piece of software. It is very responsive and I really have no complaints. I'm sure my ADD brain will find something at some point, lol. I just wanted to say from a Server Admin's perspective, this is a really great management platform."
