Cryptek operates the arkascendedservermanager.com website, the ARK Ascended Server Manager desktop software, and the ASA RCON Manager Android application. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected across those services.

1.2 Desktop Software

The Ark Ascended Server Manager desktop application:

• Licence Validation: Communicates with AASM services using the licence and device-activation information required to validate your key
• Update Checks: Checks for software updates
• Local Storage: All server configurations and settings are stored locally on your computer

1.3 Mobile Application

The ASA RCON Manager mobile app does not send app data to its publisher. It stores the local profiles and temporary data described in section 3.

Mobile App

3. ASA RCON Manager Mobile App Privacy

Data Not Sent to the Publisher by the App:

• No advertisements or ad tracking
• No cloud storage of credentials
• No email addresses or contact information
• No device identifiers

What IS Stored Locally:

The following data is stored in the app's local storage on your device:

• Server Configurations: Server names, IP addresses, RCON ports, and passwords
• App Settings: Display preferences, chat poll interval, safety settings
• Temporary Data: Chat history (last 500 messages), console output, player lists

How the App Works:

1. Direct Connections: The app connects from your device to your ARK server using the RCON protocol; AASM services do not relay the connection.
2. No AASM Cloud Sync: Credentials and settings are not synced to an AASM cloud account.
3. Local Management: Saved server profiles, preferences, and recent activity remain in the app's local storage.

Permissions Used:

• INTERNET: Required to connect to your game servers via RCON
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to detect network availability for automatic reconnection

Android displays the app's current permission requests before installation. Review that prompt and the Google Play listing for the installed release.

Deleting Your Data:

To delete all data stored by the app:

1. Open the app
2. Go to Settings
3. Use "Clear All Data" option
4. Or simply uninstall the app to remove all local data

4. Data Security

Security measures used to protect information include:

• Secure Website Hosting: HTTPS encryption for all website communications
• Payment Security: Transactions are handled by payment processors including PayPal and Stripe
• Security Updates: Website and service components receive security updates
• Access Controls: Limited access to any collected data
• Mobile App: Saved profiles, settings, and temporary data are held in the app's local storage

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Personal information is not sold, traded, or rented to third parties.

Information may be processed or disclosed only when:

Note: The publisher does not relay mobile RCON traffic. A direct connection may cross borders depending on the location of the server you configure.
